I've been working on an idea that I'm pretty excited about, and I'd love to share it with you.
Lost & Found Folk Community is about bringing together artists, musicians, and people who love great songwriting. The goal is simple: help wonderful music find new ears, new voices, and new life.
And you've already helped make this possible. Through years of writing, recording, and performing, you've created music that has touched people's lives and stayed with them. That's the music and the spirit we're hoping to celebrate and carry forward.
What I'm Asking
Nothing that adds another responsibility to your life. I'd simply love your help introducing the idea to your fans when we're ready to open the community. A casual invitation to check it out and see if they'd like to be part of it would mean a lot.
That's it. No schedule, no required appearances, no ongoing commitment.
I'd be delighted to have you as a Founding Member in Honor, with complimentary membership. And if you'd ever like to take part in something along the way, you're always welcome—but there's no expectation.
What We're Building
The idea is to create a place where the music, the people who made it, and the people who love it can come together.
Members will discover artists and songs, revisit familiar favorites, explore stories behind the music, and enjoy performances, conversations, and other special events.
We also hope to introduce musicians to songs and songwriters they may not know, inspiring them to bring some of that music into their own repertoires and share it with new audiences.
I'd love to see some of the artists themselves join us for conversations or special events along the way, but that's entirely up to them. There's no expectation or obligation.
It's about keeping the music alive—not just remembering where it's been, but seeing where it can go.
How This Came About
I've spent much of my life bringing people together around music. In the Boston area, I founded Wood & Strings, which grew into a music school, concert series, and gathering place for the folk and acoustic music community. Later, I continued that work through Sedona Studio Live.
Lost & Found Folk grew out of that same love of sharing music and helping wonderful artists find an audience. The community is a natural next step—a chance to bring together many of the artists, musicians, and listeners who've been part of this musical journey, and introduce the music to people who are just discovering it.
If this idea speaks to you, we'd love to have you and your music be part of the Lost & Found Folk Community. However you choose to participate, and in whatever way feels right to you, there's a place for you here!
